Just to the right of the tram are two identical "towers". Are these the same two "towers" as seen on the hill top school c1920s photo further on?. If so this would put the tram just about level with coles lane, about to descend the incline towards black lake. cheers | |

You know you are spot on ! I have been looking at this photo and I was sure it was from Birmingham Rd I didn't know the trams went down to Hill Top ? | |
