My sister told me yesterday that we used to have pork pie for breakfast on Christmas morning when we were small.  I certainly can't remember it but she insists we did.

Does anyone else remember this Black Country tradition?

Happy New Year Everybody

When I was a child living in Lyttleton Street, we always had pork pie for breakfast on Christmas morning.  It seems a strange thing to have and I haven't eaten for it Christmas breakfast for a very long time but I do believe it's origin is in the Black Country.
