Looks very like the block of flats on the corner of Littleton Street and Horton Street, down the Lyng. We lived in the next block St Johns in the 70's and I used the shop but can't remember the name of the flats

I had a car just like the one in the background, even the same colour -'Sunset Red'. A 2litre Mrk 3 Cortina GT.

Hi Folks, It is indeed the Lyng, and Barbara is right, its the block of flats on the corner of Horton st. We lived in those flats for 5 yrs when they were brand new in Feb 1968 to April 1972,we were on the 10th floor and loved it, but when our little boy found his feet we needed a garden, so we moved down Bromford lane to Westbourne rd. The name of the flats was Caldwell House,it was the only block with a shop built underneath. Keith Barratt.
