Now, I was having an argument at the weekend about who was Man of the Match in the 68 final and my mate said it was Astle without any doubt !

OK, Astle scored the goal but what about Ozzie who made some fantastic saves to keep the baggies in the match

Ozzie gets my vote !

I can remember him, against Leeds Utd having a fag in goal, throwing it down when Leeds attacked and when he kicked the ball upfield he picked up the fag an continued to smoke it

And what about Wee Willie Johnston, what a player, tough, fast and with so much talent it was unbelievable, he used to skin the fullback with so much ease

We could watch all of these fantastic players for 60p a match, now it was £40.00 for the Blues game, no wonder the seats were empty

It as to be Tony Brown with out a doubt for man of the match in the 68 cup final. The man never stopped running and must have covered the every foot of the pitch. I loved Astle and Osbourne with a passion but Bomber will always s be Mr Albion
