I vaguely rember it, it was opposite the Sun Garage or the Crown, one of the gravestones was in the shape of an obolisk if i remember right. I am sure it was near the fish & chip shop.

I've fished out my old maps and you have surprised me yet again. There is a 'Chapel' shown  on the 1837 which on the 1902 is described as Mission Room and B.G. Which I translate as Burial Ground. This is opposite Mill Street and where Sandwell Road splits off to Hargate Lane. No sign of Sandwell Lane, perhaps this was a local term although it looks like a path past it through the back of The Cronehills. What was the Mission Room called anybody and where are the Gravestones now? I have never noticed this before!

I remember they screened all the graveyard off and exumed the remains to make way for the Council yard, where the remains were interned i really dont know but would think it would be Old Church.
