OLD WEST BROMWICH PHOTOS

I lived most of my childhood in West Brom, living in King Street off Guns Lane from about 1946 - 1952. I attended Guns Lane School, and then George Salters School, I finished my education at Hill Top High School, and West Brom Technical College where I was training to be an Industrial Chemist.

I lived in Clifford Road in the mid 1950's until the late 1960's. After getting married to my wife Hazel (nee) Hampton also from Clifford Road, we moved to Kingswinford  and in 1971 we moved to Pembrokeshire West Wales.

I worked in farming for three years and set up a small Garden Centre/ and Market Garden Business.

After selling the business I worked as a Local Government Officer in Bereavement Services and I retired as a  Superintendent and Registrar 5yrs ago.

My hobbies are gardening and Vintage Stationary Engines.and RC Helicopters and Aircraft.
