Born in Hallam Hospital,went to Beeches Rd junior & infants & then 12mths at Spon lane.Passing the 12plus to go to Secondary tech school.Married with 3 children (all grown up), & 10 grandchildren.Now living in Kingswinford. my brother in law.bill george,worked at shintons keith,and when we left england in 1972.he and his wife mary lived above the shop in bull street,sadly he passed away a few years ago,but we,re in weekly contact with mary.bill phillips
