OLD WEST BROMWICH PHOTOS

Born in Ryders Green Road, Greets Green, West Bromwich in 1948. Attended Greets Green Primary school, (Mr. Sommerton was headmaster) then George Salter Sec Mod.

I am trying to get a photograph of my dad who worked at the Phoenix Steel Tube in Phoenix Street. All our old photographs were destroyed by accicent.

I had a brother named Roy Stanton who died in 2000. I have 2 sisters, Valerie and June.

My dad was born in 1907 in Oak Lane and attended the local school. He must have lived there until he married my mother, Violet Eliza, in the 30's and then moved to Greets Green.
